Gijón now has bicycles adapted for people with reduced mobility
Gijón/Xixón City Council is the first public Spanish Administration with this type of bicycles.
Starting the first week of February, these bicycles will be freely available for any person with reduced mobility and their accompanying person.
The small fleet, made of four bicycles, has two that include a platform to lift any type of wheelchair and another two with an ergonomic seat.
